Minor delays happen at busy distribution centers, but detention pay is provided to offset lost time.

💼 Career Opportunities

Starting in this Fresno-based regional position gives drivers a stable entry point into structured multi-state freight operations without jumping straight into long-haul OTR. Over time, drivers who demonstrate reliability on these CA–NV–AZ loops often gain access to higher-paying dedicated contracts, especially retail distribution lanes with fixed appointment schedules and reduced downtime. Another natural progression is moving into more specialized freight. Drivers can transition into temperature-controlled reefer operations moving produce and perishable goods across California and Arizona, or step into higher-paying hazmat-certified lanes once endorsements are added. These routes typically offer stronger CPM rates and additional bonuses but require tighter compliance and planning. Experienced drivers may also step into mentor or trainer roles, helping onboard new hires during their first regional cycles. This adds an extra income stream while reducing personal mileage demands. Long-term, some drivers shift into dispatch coordination or fleet planning roles, using their route knowledge to optimize freight movement across the Fresno network.
