📋 Job Description

  • Pick up import containers directly from Port Tampa Bay terminals during live vessel discharge windows
  • Deliver outbound freight to nearby warehouses and transload facilities across the Tampa metro area
  • Handle frequent chassis swaps and reposition empty containers back into port staging yards
  • Navigate high-traffic port gates while maintaining strict TWIC security compliance at all times
  • Coordinate closely with dispatch to align runs with ship arrival schedules and terminal release timing
  • Inspect chassis condition including twist locks, brakes, tires, and lighting before every move
