💼 Career Opportunities

This CDL-A intermodal position in Harrisburg, PA places drivers directly into one of the busiest rail-connected freight ecosystems in the Northeast corridor. Drivers work around the Harrisburg–Enola rail yard system, supporting continuous container flow between major ports like Newark, Elizabeth, and Baltimore. Over time, experienced drivers can transition into higher-priority rail lanes, dedicated customer accounts, or specialized port drayage operations with more consistent dispatch cycles. Some drivers move into trainer roles for new intermodal hires or shift into dispatcher-support positions within terminal operations. Because freight demand in this corridor is driven by import congestion and rail scheduling volatility, opportunities expand for drivers who can adapt to high-frequency container movements and tight turnaround windows. While advancement is not guaranteed, consistent performance in rail yard environments often leads to preferred route assignments, better equipment rotation, and access to premium intermodal contracts within the PA–NJ–MD logistics network.
