💼 Career Opportunities

This Houston flatbed CDL-A position is more than just a driving job—it’s a long-term entry point into specialized heavy freight logistics across Texas and the Gulf Coast. Drivers who stay in this lane often move into higher-paying heavy-haul assignments, dedicated steel accounts, or supervisory roles coordinating oversized loads for construction projects. With time, many transition into trainer positions, mentoring new flatbed drivers on securement and safety procedures. Others move into regional dispatch roles or dedicated account routes tied to major infrastructure contractors. The freight network here is constantly evolving, especially around Houston’s industrial zones, so experienced drivers are often the first considered for premium routes, steady dedicated lanes, and higher CPM contracts tied to steel and energy projects.
