💼 Career Opportunities

This CDL-A Flatbed position in San Diego operates inside one of Southern California’s most active freight corridors, where construction demand, port logistics, and inland distribution constantly intersect. Drivers entering this role gain exposure to high-volume industrial freight moving between San Diego County, the Inland Empire, and Los Angeles metro zones. While this is a local and short regional flatbed position, many drivers later transition into dedicated regional accounts or heavier specialized freight such as step-deck and oversize hauling. Some move into trainer roles after building securement experience in active job-site environments. Dispatch flow in this region is heavily influenced by port congestion, freeway traffic on I-5 and I-15, and construction scheduling windows, creating a fast-paced but predictable freight rhythm. Long-term career movement depends on safety performance, load handling reliability, and consistency in on-time deliveries across complex urban delivery routes.

🔗 CDL-A Flatbed Local/Regional Driver – San Diego, CA

San Diego CDL-A flatbed drivers operate in a high-density freight environment driven by construction growth across Southern California, continuous port-related imports, and heavy industrial expansion in the Inland Empire. Daily routes frequently move along I-5, I-15, and CA-60, connecting job sites, warehouses, and contractor yards under strict delivery windows. This local and regional flatbed role offers $1,350–$1,950 per week depending on load volume, tarping requirements, and detention time in congested metro corridors. Drivers must navigate tight construction access points, urban traffic delays, and coordinated delivery schedules that shift based on project timelines. The fleet operates mixed modern tractors with real-world wear, requiring adaptability and strong safety discipline. This role is ideal for drivers who want steady freight flow without long-haul OTR cycles while staying consistently engaged in Southern California’s construction logistics network.
