💼 Career Opportunities

This Chicago-based flatbed position is not just a standard trucking job—it’s a pathway into specialized industrial freight operations. Drivers who stay within this steel corridor network often transition into higher-paying heavy-haul assignments, oversized permit freight, and dedicated industrial accounts tied to construction mega-projects across Illinois and Indiana. With consistent exposure to steel mills in Gary, fabrication yards in Chicago, and Midwest distribution centers, drivers build skills that directly translate into premium freight categories. Over time, experienced operators can move into trainer positions, dedicated steel accounts, or even regional dispatch coordination roles. For those willing to master securement systems and handle physical freight environments, this role becomes a long-term career track rather than a temporary driving position.
