Job Description
- Drive dedicated flatbed routes hauling fabricated steel to construction sites
- Ensure secure loading and unloading of freight
- Maintain accurate trip and mileage logs
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Comply with all DOT, company, and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid Class A CDL required
Experience
1 year flatbed experience required; 2 years preferred
Age Requirement
Must meet federal CDL age requirements
MVR & Risk
No more than 2 moving violations in 12 months; no rollovers or abandonment; no speeding 15+ MPH in 3 years
Physical Ability
Must be able to secure freight by hand and perform safety inspections
Communication
Ability to coordinate with dispatch and customers effectively
