Job Description
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers with dry van trailers across long-haul national freight routes
- Safely transport freight between warehouses, distribution centers, and commercial shipping facilities across multiple states
- Manage electronic logging devices (ELD) and maintain accurate driving records in compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery windows while optimizing fuel use and driving hours
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding load status, route conditions, and scheduling updates
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required
Experience
OTR experience preferred; training may be available for qualified candidates
Age Requirement
Must meet federal age requirements for interstate driving
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT safety standards
Physical Ability
Ability to drive long distances and perform pre/post-trip inspections
