Job Description
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and container chassis to transport containers
- Pick up and deliver containers according to schedule and dispatch instructions
- Coordinate with port and rail yard personnel for efficient trailer swaps
- Inspect chassis and container equipment for safety and operational compliance
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, container ID numbers, and delivery times
- Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL-A license required
Experience
Experience operating container chassis or intermodal equipment preferred
Age Requirement
Must meet minimum age requirements to operate commercial vehicles
