Job Description

  • Safely operate flatbed tractor-trailers with heavy and oversized freight
  • Properly secure cargo using straps, chains, binders, and tarps
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle and load safety
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation using ELD or paper logs
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route changes
  • Follow DOT and company safety regulations at all times

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

Flatbed driving experience preferred

Age Requirement

Meet minimum legal age for CDL-A operation

MVR & Risk

Clean driving record; pass DOT physical and drug screening

Physical Ability

Ability to handle physical labor involved in securing heavy freight
