Job Description

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer transporting full truckload retail freight
  • Deliver to retail distribution centers on scheduled routes
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate updates to dispatch
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle and cargo safety
  • Adhere to DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
  • Handle route changes or adjustments proactively while maintaining schedules

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

Safe driving history with experience in over-the-road or regional driving preferred

Age Requirement

Minimum age 21 years

MVR & Risk

Clean driving record with strong safety history

Physical Ability

Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and handle freight loading/unloading

Communication

Familiarity with electronic logs (ELD) preferred; effective communication with dispatch
