Job Description

  • Plan and execute routes independently, managing time and freight efficiently
  • Operate tractor-trailer safely on long-haul OTR routes
  • Maintain accurate logs, ELD records, and delivery documentation
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding freight updates, load changes, and scheduling
  • Maximize revenue through fuel surcharge reimbursements, high-mileage lanes, and incentive programs

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid CDL-A license required

Experience

Experience with long-haul OTR operations preferred

Age Requirement

Minimum age 21 years

MVR & Risk

Clean driving record, compliant with FMCSA regulations

Physical Ability

Ability to perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and handle freight
