Job Description
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely across multiple states on long-haul routes
- Manage freight delivery according to customer requirements and schedule deadlines
- Track mileage and hours of service using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD)
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
- Maintain freight security, ensuring all loads are properly secured for transit
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, traffic, or delivery issues
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid Class A CDL required
Experience
Minimum 2 years OTR experience preferred; qualified newcomers may be considered
Age Requirement
Must meet federal minimum age for OTR driving
MVR & Risk
Clean DOT driving record, pass drug and physical screenings
Physical Ability
Capable of long-distance solo driving, route planning, and high-mileage workloads
