Job Description

  • Safely operate Class A flatbed tractor-trailers on assigned routes
  • Secure freight using straps, chains, and tarps according to DOT regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs (ELD/paper) and follow all safety protocols
  • Communicate with dispatch and on-site teams regarding deliveries and schedule updates
  • Occasionally assist with tarping/unloading at customer sites

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid Class A CDL license required

Experience

Flatbed or pole freight experience preferred but not mandatory

Age Requirement

Minimum 21 years old for interstate driving

MVR & Risk

Clean driving record and commitment to DOT compliance

Physical Ability

Ability to handle tarping, load securement, and occasional on-site assistance

Communication

Strong communication skills with dispatch and customer personnel

Equipment & Fleet

  • Modern flatbed trucks with safety features and comfortable sleeper cabins
  • Regular fleet maintenance to ensure reliability and safety
  • All necessary tarping, straps, chains, and tools for freight securement
