Job Description
- Safely operate Class A flatbed tractor-trailers on assigned routes
- Secure freight using straps, chains, and tarps according to DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD/paper) and follow all safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and on-site teams regarding deliveries and schedule updates
- Occasionally assist with tarping/unloading at customer sites
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid Class A CDL license required
Experience
Flatbed or pole freight experience preferred but not mandatory
Age Requirement
Minimum 21 years old for interstate driving
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record and commitment to DOT compliance
Physical Ability
Ability to handle tarping, load securement, and occasional on-site assistance
Communication
Strong communication skills with dispatch and customer personnel
