Job Description
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers to pick up freight from warehouses and deliver to customer and retail locations across Boise.
- Secure freight properly on trailers to prevent damage and ensure DOT compliance.
- Perform yard checks, loading/unloading tasks, and maintain equipment in safe condition.
- Provide professional customer interactions, obtain signatures, and maintain delivery documentation.
- Utilize handheld scanners, delivery software, and ELD devices for shipment tracking.
- Communicate with dispatch for schedule confirmations and special handling instructions.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
Experience
Comfortable handling multi-stop deliveries and yard operations.
Age Requirement
Minimum 21 years old to operate interstate freight (local routes may vary).
MVR & Risk
Safe driving record with no major violations.
Physical Ability
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and secure cargo.
Communication
Strong customer service and professional communication skills.
