Job Description
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for local pickups and deliveries as well as regional drop-and-hook runs.
- Manage freight efficiently, ensuring deliveries are on time and secure.
- Maintain accurate electronic or paper logs and comply with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to keep equipment in top condition.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customer contacts.
- Occasionally assist with loading/unloading as needed while prioritizing safety.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL‑A license with a clean driving record (MVR).
Experience
Minimum of 6–12 months of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
Age Requirement
Must meet minimum legal driving age requirements for interstate commerce.
