Job Description
- Safely operate Class A flatbed and step deck tractor-trailers
- Secure loads properly using straps, chains, tarps, and other safety equipment
- Follow FMCSA, DOT, and company safety regulations
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or equipment needs
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring all equipment is safe for operation
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL‑A license required
Experience
Previous experience in flatbed or step deck OTR trucking preferred
Age Requirement
Must meet minimum legal age to drive commercial vehicles
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT requirements
