Job Description
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers or day cabs on city and suburban routes
- Load, unload, and deliver freight to customers efficiently
- Use scanning and tracking equipment to record pickups and deliveries
- Interact professionally with customers at each stop
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ELD records
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL‑A license required
Experience
1+ year of driving experience preferred, ideally in local delivery
Age Requirement
Must meet federal and state age requirements for CDL drivers
MVR & Risk
Safe driving record; ability to pass DOT requirements
Physical Ability
Capable of handling freight loading/unloading and daily driving
Communication
Professional, customer-oriented, and dependable communication skills
