Job Description

  • Safely operate Class A tanker trucks transporting refined fuels and hazardous liquids.
  • Handle loading and offloading procedures at fuel terminals, commercial accounts, and industrial sites.
  • Maintain full compliance with Hazmat and DOT regulations, ensuring accurate documentation and ELD logs.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminals, and customers regarding schedules and safety protocols.
  • Adhere to all company and federal safety standards, including PPE and emergency response procedures.

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid Class A CDL with current Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

Experience

Minimum 1 year operating tanker trucks or handling hazardous materials.

Age Requirement

Meet minimum legal driving age requirements for CDL-A operations.

MVR & Risk

Clean DOT driving record and pass pre-employment screenings including drug testing.

Physical Ability

Physically able to perform loading/unloading inspections and handle hoses, ladders, and tanker equipment.

Communication

Strong verbal and written communication skills for dispatch and customer interaction.
