Job Description
- Operate fuel tank trucks to safely deliver petroleum products to commercial, industrial, and retail customers
- Perform detailed pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Unload fuel using pumping or gravity methods at delivery sites
- Maintain accurate shipping papers, manifests, and logbooks in compliance with DOT and company standards
- Follow hazmat and environmental safety procedures to prevent spills and accidents
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers, reporting delays or issues promptly
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL-A license required; CDL-B with tank/hazmat endorsements considered
Experience
Hazmat endorsement highly preferred; previous fuel delivery experience a plus
Age Requirement
Minimum 21 years of age
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record with no serious violations in past 3 years
Physical Ability
Ability to perform vehicle inspections and fuel unloading safely
