Job Description
- Operate Class A flatbed tractor-trailers on OTR and regional lanes.
- Secure heavy freight using chains, binders, tarps, load bars, and other safety equipment.
- Transport diverse loads including machinery, construction materials, steel coils, pipe, and oversized equipment.
- Ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations for load securement, inspections, and safe operation.
- Maintain accurate logs using ELD devices or paper logs where applicable.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, route updates, and load handling.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience.
Experience
Comfortable with flatbed load securement techniques and heavy freight.
Age Requirement
Minimum age 21 for interstate operations.
MVR & Risk
Safe driving record; able to comply with DOT/company regulations.
Physical Ability
Physically capable of handling chains, binders, tarps, and load securement tasks.
Communication
Professional communication and problem-solving skills for freight and route challenges.
