Job Description
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck on local delivery routes
- Pickup and deliver freight within the city and nearby towns
- Maintain accurate daily logs, delivery records, and required paperwork
- Load and unload freight as needed
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL-A license required
Experience
6+ months local CDL experience preferred
Age Requirement
Must meet state CDL minimum age requirements
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record with no major violations
Physical Ability
Capable of loading/unloading freight and long periods of driving
