Job Description

Plan daily routes, prioritize deliveries, and collaborate with your team to keep freight moving safely and on time.
Handle all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately while following DOT, state, and company guidelines.
Safely operate your tractor-trailer and inspect it before, during, and after each trip to maintain top condition.
Run optimized routes by following traffic laws and local restrictions to reduce delays and improve on-time performance.
Uphold Walmart’s high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism every mile.
Communicate clearly, solve problems on the road, and adapt to changes in plans or conditions.

Requirements

CDL Class A

Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat endorsement or will obtain HAZMAT within 120 days of hire.

Experience

Minimum of 30 months full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving experience in the last 3 years.

Age Requirement

Must meet age requirements for interstate CDL-A operation.

MVR & Risk

No more than two moving violations, no serious traffic violations, no preventable accidents in last 3 years; no preventable DOT recordable accidents in last 10 years.

Physical Ability

Physically able to operate tractor-trailer safely and comply with DOT standards.

Communication

Clear communication skills for team coordination, problem-solving, and customer interactions.
