Job Description
- Safely operate Class A tractors with refrigerated trailers (reefers) on long-haul routes.
- Maintain proper temperature standards for perishable and frozen freight.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Track and report mileage, loads, and performance metrics for accurate pay.
- Communicate with dispatch or clients regarding route adjustments, deliveries, or issues.
- Comply with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
Experience
Experience with refrigerated freight (reefer) and long-haul OTR routes preferred.
