Job Description
- Safely operate Class A tractors with flatbed trailers on OTR routes.
- Haul heavy machinery, steel, lumber, and other flatbed freight while adhering to schedules and DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, load assignments, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of loads, mileage, and commission-based earnings.
- Utilize proper tarping, strapping, and cargo securement procedures for safety compliance.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
Experience
OTR flatbed hauling experience preferred.
Age Requirement
21 years or older.
MVR & Risk
Clean motor vehicle record and safety-conscious.
Physical Ability
Ability to handle heavy cargo and perform manual loading/securement.
Communication
