Job Description
- Safely transport products from warehouse to customer locations according to invoices and company standards.
- Load and unload product per customer specifications.
- Complete all paperwork (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports) accurately and on time.
- Maintain food safety protocols and proper vehicle temperatures.
- Operate equipment safely, including pallets, load bars, SLS unit, and PPE.
- Develop positive customer relationships through courteous service and communication.
- Report route, trailer, customer, or product issues to management.
- Work assigned schedule, including weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call as needed.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma/GED or equivalent; tractor-trailer school completion accepted.
Experience
1+ year tractor-trailer driving preferred.
Licenses
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required; insurable to operate vehicle.
Skills
Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, safe lifting practices, and long-distance driving in varied conditions.
Abilities
Drive tractor-trailer day/night, handle various traffic/weather, operate 3-axle tractor and 45'-48' trailers, perform basic math, plan and organize work independently.
