Job Description
- Plan, navigate, and execute long-distance freight routes safely and efficiently.
- Operate and maintain commercial trucks in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Ensure accurate recording of hours of service using ELD devices and maintain logbooks according to DOT standards.
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to identify and report mechanical issues.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding route progress, delays, and any operational concerns.
- Follow safety protocols to protect freight, equipment, and personal safety.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL Class A license required.
Experience
Prior long-haul or OTR experience preferred.
Age Requirement
Minimum age 21 years.
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Physical Ability
Capable of long hours driving and handling freight as needed.
Communication
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
