Job Description
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
- Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, and coordinate with business partners.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety rules/regulations.
- Utilize fleet maintenance software to document repairs and parts used.
- Provide backup to other maintenance shop personnel and assume increased responsibility as required.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Preferred, with DOT certification.
Experience
3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic; diagnostic and troubleshooting skills required.
Age Requirement
Minimum 18 years old to meet legal driving requirements if needed.
MVR & Risk
Valid driver's license required; must follow all safety and operational regulations.
Physical Ability
Frequent lifting, standing, bending, climbing, and operating equipment as per job description.
Communication
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively; basic math skills required.
