Job Description
- Transport flatbed freight safely across regional and OTR routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure loads are properly secured
- Handle specialty metals, machinery, building materials, coils, glass, and more
- Maintain truck cleanliness and follow DOT regulations
- Complete all required documentation for trips and deliveries
- Adhere to all company policies and safety standards
Requirements
CDL Class A
Must have a valid Class A CDL license
Experience
Minimum 4 months driving experience; 1-year preferred but not required
Age Requirement
Must be 21 years or older
MVR & Risk
Safe driving record, no more than 6 jobs in last 3 years, clean drug test and clearinghouse
Physical Ability
Must lift 90-pound tarp onto 5-foot high platform; 70% of loads require tarping
Communication
Ability to communicate with dispatch and follow instructions clearly
