Job Description
- Operate a Class A flatbed tractor-trailer safely on regional and OTR routes.
- Haul oversized or irregular freight including steel, lumber, machinery, and construction materials.
- Secure loads using chains, straps, binders, and tarps, following federal and state safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and delivery documentation.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, load changes, and delivery updates.
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL-A license required
Experience
Experience with flatbed or specialized freight preferred
Age Requirement
Minimum age 21
MVR & Risk
Clean driving record; compliance with DOT regulations
Physical Ability
Ability to handle physical labor for load securement and tarping
Communication
Good communication skills for dispatch and team coordination
