Job Description
- Transport steel, aluminum, machinery, coils, glass, building materials, specialty metals
- Secure cargo and tarp ~70% of loads
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain ELD logs
- Communicate with dispatch and operations team
- Follow DOT, FMCSA & HOS regulations
Requirements
CDL & Experience
Valid Class A CDL, 4+ months driving experience; preferred 1-year flatbed
Driving Record
Safe record, no major violations, max 6 jobs in 3 years
Physical
Lift 90-lb tarp onto 5-foot platform twice; DOT physical, drug & background check
