Job Description

  • Transport flatbed loads safely and efficiently across western US routes
  • Ensure proper load securement and handling of specialty metals, coils, and machinery
  • Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic reporting
  • Participate in orientation and training programs for new equipment and routes
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication during deliveries

Requirements

CDL Class A

Valid Class A CDL required

Experience

Minimum 4 months driving experience; 1-year preferred but not required

Age Requirement

Must be 21 years or older

MVR & Risk

Safe driving record; no more than 6 jobs in last 3 years

Physical Ability

Lift 90 lb tarp onto 5-foot platform; required for flatbed duties

Communication

Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

Equipment & Fleet

  • Modern flatbed trucks with lane departure, forward-collision warning, hard brake monitoring
  • 24/7/365 road service shops; trucks only leave when fully operational
  • Delivery equipment includes tarps, chains, binders, straps, and specialty securing gear

Home Time

  • 3 weeks out, then 3 days off (varies by division)
  • Flexible stops and route adjustments in coordination with dispatch
