Job Description
- Operate your own tanker trailer safely on assigned OTR or regional routes
- Transport liquid freight including HazMat with proper handling
- Maintain trip logs, documentation, and ELD compliance
- Follow DOT, FMCSA, and HazMat safety regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient routing and deliveries
Requirements
License
CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required
Medical & Compliance
DOT physical, drug screen, and background check required
Experience
Minimum 6 months recent tanker driving experience
Safety & Record
Clean MVR; no recent DUI or major violations
Equipment & Fleet
- Owner-provided tanker truck meeting company safety standards
- Guidance on HazMat handling and secure transport
- GPS & telematics for route optimization
- Regular maintenance & roadside support available
Home Time
- 2–3 days at home after 2–3 weeks on the road
