Job Description
- Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver food and related products safely and on schedule
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Perform all DOT-required safety checks and inspections of vehicle and trailer
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines
- Unloading products into customer storage areas and verifying deliveries
- Complete accurate delivery paperwork, daily logs, and other records
- Maintain clean and safe working environment, including vehicle and loading areas
- Assist in damage control and customer returns following company policy
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
Experience
12+ months commercial driving experience
Licenses
Valid CDL-A, age 21+, meet all state licensing requirements
Compliance
Clean MVR past 3 years, pass DOT health card, drug test, background check, and road test
Physical
Able to hand-lift 10–90 lbs and use equipment for loading/unloading
