- Early evening dispatch with overnight deliveries
- Safe handling and delivery of grocery and retail products
Job Description
- Inspect tractor-trailer pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
- Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy
- Drive tractor-trailer safely applying commercial driving regulations
- Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) documenting deliveries
- Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
CDL & Eligibility
Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A), 21+ years old
Experience
At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
Driving Record
Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
Compliance
Ability to read, write, and understand English; DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
