Job Description
- Drive tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver food products safely and on time
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT regulations
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Unload, transport, and verify product deliveries; handle returns and damages
- Complete accurate paperwork and maintain logbooks per DOT requirements
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas; perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
CDL Class A
Valid CDL-A required; meet all state licensing requirements
Experience
6+ months of commercial driving experience
Age Requirement
Must be 21 years or older
MVR & Risk
Clean motor vehicle record for past 3 years; pass drug and background checks
Physical Ability
Lift and move freight 10-90 lbs using appropriate equipment during shift
Communication
Professional interaction with customers, co-workers, and vendors
